City Council candidates invited to April Civic League Meeting

The NHCL has invited all of the City Council candidates for the May 1st election to attend the April 5th Civic League meeting. The board asks that you provide questions prior to the meeting so the candidates can research answers and come prepared. Please send your questions to nhcivicleague@yahoo.com by March 29th. This gives the candidates 1 week to get information for the community. This is a great opportunity to meet the candidates and learn what they are all about. The meeting, as always, will take place at 7pm, April 5th at the Laurel Ave Church of Christ (1126 Laurel Ave).

Civic League meeting March 1st

The next meeting is Thursday night, March 1st, 7 PM, at the Laurel Ave. Church of Christ. We will have representatives from the City Manager's office. The manger himself is may attend (but has other commitments). If you have questions for them please send them to me so I can forward them on prior to the meeting. This gives them time to get answers before the meeting, so we can get answers directly instead of via e-mail. I have asked about the shopping center and covering our drainage ditches, so if you have other issues you can e-mail Nhcivicleague@yahoo.com.
